My Story

I am Laurence Wang, and I am a resident of West Lafyette for 10 years since my family moved here in 2012. My wife and I have two lovely children, both are currently in West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High School; one is in 10th grade and the other is in 11th grade. My wife is a faculty member at Purdue University.

I have a bachelor degree in Business Administration, a master degree in Finance, and a second master degree in Management Information System (MIS). For many years, I worked as a business analyst in various industries, such as commercial insurance and consulting, manufacturing, and health care insurance industries.

In the past several years, I have moved my focus from work to my family and our two kids. I believe our children deserve the best education in school as well as in our community, and that is why I am running for the school board.
